Included in the Northern Bus Garage renovation is a new 1,600 sq. ft. community room created for community meetings and presentations.
The room will also include a dedicated back wall showcasing exhibit panels that highlight themes related to the Northern Bus Garage, the surrounding neighborhood, and local African-American history.
This wall exhibit will provide a visual connection to the community's heritage without occupying significant space or requiring extensive maintenance.
